I inherited sixty years of brick bungalows have a room perfect. It has all the original accessories, with bath and separate shower. Accessories and all the surrounding stones are black and white, as is typical of the time. I want to paint on the walls khaki and then put in the red with my towels and accessories. Dutch Boy has a wonderful color called Shingle Tan and would be the ideal color for your walls.
